This page exists because a limit discovered late is a limit that was hidden, and every other page on this site is easier to trust once this one has been read.

The numbers
Every value is generated
Thirty-two subjects, six metrics each, twenty-four monthly periods. Every price, every rent, every listing count and every point of every history in that grid was produced by a generator. No provider feed is authorised and no market observation has been published.

The board says the same thing in a banner across its top, in every screenshot this site publishes. That is deliberate: a chart is the element most likely to be screenshotted away from the page that qualified it.
The map
Not national, and not symmetrical
The geography is real, and it stops in specific places. Stating where is not a disclaimer attached to the coverage claim — it is the coverage claim.

One correction in the other direction, because accuracy runs both ways: the New Zealand regions that do render are real public data, not placeholders. And the reason the finer detail is missing is recorded rather than shrugged at — a suitable open dataset of around 6,500 New Zealand suburb and locality polygons exists under a licence that permits commercial use. It has not been brought in. That is a choice not yet made rather than an absence of data.
The product
The product is not operated anywhere
The board works. It has also never been served to anyone. Those two facts are usually reported as one, and separating them is the whole point of the vocabulary this project uses.
Demonstrated locally
The synthetic end-to-end chain runs and is verified on a developer's machine.
Not deployed
No service is operated for anyone: no hosted run, no scheduled job, and no address that reaches the product. Serving this static page from a host deploys the page, not the product.
Not live
No provider feed, real property fact, customer record, or delivered alert.
There is also no PUBLIC API and no key. A machine-readable interface does exist and is exactly private: dwelldelta-platform's /v1/ read API is released, tested, and refuses to bind anywhere but loopback —
not partial, not private, not in testing. The page for agents says so at greater length,
because that is the reader most likely to act on an assumption.
The offer
There is no price, because there is no product to price
No tier, no rate, no availability date, no service level, and no commitment about when any of those might exist. This is not modesty about numbers that were chosen and withheld — none have been chosen.
Internal design work has sketched a shape of a business model. It has never been ratified by any decision this project records, and it currently has a practical obstacle worth stating plainly: charging by usage requires counting usage, and nothing here counts anything. One licence boundary is settled, and it is a compliance rule rather than a pricing preference — a source licensed for non-commercial use can never enter a paid tier, and moving it to a free tier is not a remedy, because that condition attaches to the purpose of the use rather than the price charged for it.

- And this page is itself a claim. It was written on a date, against a version, by the people it describes. Staleness in it is detected by checks rather than prevented by care — which is the honest arrangement, and a weaker one than it sounds.
